Shared Tools

We're working on shared data types like reminders and notes to help households and teams coordinate even better. These will work alongside events and contacts as core building blocks for shared coordination.

The Concept

Just like events and contacts help you coordinate around time and people, shared tools will help you coordinate around information and tasks. These shared data types will be visible to everyone in your workspace, making it easier to stay aligned on reminders, notes, and other shared information.

The goal is to reduce coordination friction by making shared information visible and accessible, without requiring everyone to have access to edit each other's personal tools or apps.

Planned Features

Reminders

Shared reminders that everyone in your workspace can see. Coordinate around tasks, deadlines, and important dates without needing separate reminder apps or shared to-do lists.

Notes

Shared notes for information that needs to be accessible to everyone. Store important details, instructions, or context that helps with coordination and decision-making.

Why Shared Tools?

The same principle that makes events and contacts useful applies to other types of shared information: visibility without control. You can see what matters without needing to edit or manage others' personal tools. Shared tools will work alongside events and contacts to create a comprehensive coordination system for households and teams.
