How ComingUp Today works

ComingUp Today brings calendars and everyday household information into one shared experience. See the schedule in Today, Week, and Month, with lists, notes, contacts, and recipes close at hand. Start on your own or invite people to your ComingUp organization; calendar connections, Household Display, and a supported AI assistant are optional.

01 · Who this is for

For everyday life, on your own or together

Start with what is useful to you. A shared view can help a couple, a busy family, or people coordinating care, without making any one situation the definition of the product.

  • Individuals and couples

    Keep appointments, groceries, packing lists, recipes, and useful notes together. Invite someone when it helps, within your plan limits.

  • Families and households

    See activities, appointments, and routines together, with the everyday details that help everyone prepare.

  • Co-parenting and shared care

    Give the people you invite a clearer view of schedules and handoffs, with access based on ComingUp organization membership and permissions.

  • More involved family coordination

    Grandparents, relatives, and caregivers can be part of the picture when they are invited. These are useful examples of shared coordination, not a requirement for using ComingUp.

  • Visibility without provider editing access

    Share a view of imported schedules without giving people permission to edit the source Google or iCloud calendars.

02 · Shared visibility

A shared picture, with clear editing boundaries

Events created in ComingUp are editable where your permissions allow. Imported Google and iCloud events remain read-only in ComingUp; change those events with their provider. Seeing schedules together does not grant control over someone else’s source calendar.

Recipes stay private until you choose to share

Save and organize recipes for everyday use. Recipes can remain private, or you can deliberately make selected recipes public/shared. Learn about Recipes →

07 · Trust, privacy, and access

Sharing follows membership and permissions

Access is based on membership and permissions in a ComingUp organization. ComingUp does not infer or enforce physical household boundaries. Separate ComingUp organizations remain separate.

  • Information saved in ComingUp

    Events, lists, notes, contacts, and recipes are managed within your organization and the permissions available to you.

  • Read-only calendar imports

    Google and iCloud events are displayed without editing the source calendars. Choose which connected calendars appear in your view.

  • Optional AI help, with access you choose

    You can use ComingUp directly. A supported AI assistant is an optional way to work with authorized information and actions; it does not bypass your permissions.

  • Disconnect when needed

    A successful disconnect removes stored connection credentials and stops future loading from that connection. Your source calendars remain with their provider.
