Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-08-24
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ComingUp Today (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Summary (plain English)
- Use the Service responsibly and legally. Don't abuse it or attempt to break it.
- You control what calendars and people you connect and what you share inside the Service.
- The Service may change over time. We provide it “as is” and can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
Accounts and security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly.
Your content and permissions
The Service may display content from calendars and data sources you connect. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to connect and share that information in the ways you choose within the Service.
Information you add to a shared household may be used by other authorized household members. Deleting one member’s account does not require deletion of legitimate shared household content belonging to the remaining members; the departing member’s private data and attribution may instead be removed or de-identified.
Integrations and third-party services (e.g., Google Calendar)
- If you connect a third-party service, you authorize us to access and process the data you permit via that service's APIs in order to provide the Service.
- Your use of third-party services is also governed by their terms and policies (for example, Google's terms for Google Calendar).
- We are not responsible for third-party services and they may change, limit, or discontinue access at any time.
- Provider-owned calendar records remain controlled by their provider. Disconnecting ComingUp removes ComingUp’s stored connection credentials and locally stored provider-derived information, but does not delete source records or records the provider independently retains.
Compatible AI assistants
When you authorize and use ComingUp through a connected AI service, you authorize the supported actions you ask that service to perform. ComingUp permissions are granted separately, govern the data and actions available to that connection, and can be revoked. Separately granted write permissions can allow supported actions to create or modify ComingUp-owned events, lists, notes, and recipes, and to save or modify ComingUp-owned contacts. Connected AI tools cannot perform unsupported account, household, content, or provider deletion, and cannot write to provider-owned calendars. Your use of the AI service is also subject to that provider's terms and policies.
Support reports submitted through a connected AI service are private ComingUp support records. Submission does not guarantee a response time and does not automatically send email or another external message.
Account deletion and household ownership
You may request deletion of your account as described in the Privacy Policy. Legitimate shared household content may remain available to remaining members after your private data and attribution are removed or de-identified.
If you are the sole owner of a household that still has other members, deletion may require you to select an eligible household member for ownership transfer. The selected member must accept the transfer before it takes effect and before account deletion can finish.
Payments
When paid service becomes available, payment processing may be provided by a third-party payment provider and will also be subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices. Displayed plan information does not mean live self-service payment processing is currently enabled.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- Attempt to access or tamper with non-public areas of the Service, or bypass security measures.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service (including by automated scraping, excessive requests, or reverse engineering where prohibited).
- Upload or transmit malware or malicious code.
- Infringe intellectual property rights or violate others' privacy.
Intellectual property
The Service and its software, design, and branding are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your internal, lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information. By using the Service, you agree that we can process information as described there.
Changes, availability, and termination
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a security or operational risk.
- You may stop using the Service at any time. If you want your account deleted, contact us (see below).
Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ComingUp Today and its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
