What Are Events?
Events represent things happening at specific times, from appointments and classes to visits and shared plans. Events created in ComingUp and selected external calendar events appear together in Today, Week, and Month.

Many shared calendars don't clearly capture who an event is actually for, which is one of the reasons coordination breaks down in families and small groups. We explore that problem in more depth in Why Shared Calendars Break Down for Families.
How far ahead do repeating events appear?
Repeating events you create in ComingUp may only show the next 14 days. More dates appear automatically each day. Later repeats may not yet appear in your calendar or an assistant’s schedule answers.
Your repeating schedule remains saved. As the window moves forward, upcoming dates are added automatically according to the event’s repeat settings, end date, and any changes or cancellations. You do not need to recreate the event.
This is not a blanket limit on all future events. Other events, including one-off events and events from connected calendars, may be visible farther ahead. An empty date more than 14 days away is not proof that you have no plans.
An expected repeat missing within the next 14 days needs checking. Review its repeat settings and dates, check the timezone, and open the date in the day view to rule out Month view’s additional-events indicator. Refresh the view and contact support if it is still missing. See the local-events FAQ for more help.
