Connect ComingUp Today to Claude with a custom remote connector, authorize the access you choose, and use Claude to help with plans, lists, notes, contacts, and recipes. A directory listing is planned but not yet available.

ComingUp Today works with Claude as a custom remote MCP connector. Add it in Claude's Connectors settings, sign in to ComingUp, and choose what Claude may access.

We plan to submit ComingUp Today to Anthropic's Connectors Directory. Until a directory listing is approved and available, follow the custom connector setup below. The published directory listing is not required to connect.

Why connect ComingUp

With your permission, Claude can help check appointments, add groceries, and save notes in ComingUp. Connecting an assistant is optional.

After connecting

Ask in everyday language, such as “What’s on tomorrow?” or “Add milk to my shopping list.” If your assistant does not use ComingUp automatically, say “use ComingUp.” How this works can vary by assistant and account.

Compatibility

ComingUp Today works with Claude using a custom remote MCP connector. Claude supports custom connectors on Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans; Free accounts are limited to one custom connector, and organization admins control availability on Team and Enterprise. Connect through Claude's connector settings, sign in to ComingUp, and review permissions. Directory listing is a separate Anthropic review process and has not been approved yet. Availability in individual Claude surfaces may depend on plan and organization settings.

Working now through Claude's custom remote MCP connector setup. Add ComingUp in Claude's Connectors settings, enter the server address, sign in to ComingUp, and review the access you allow. A directory listing is planned, not yet available.

What you can do

Check plans and add events

Ask what is coming up, find event details, or create and update events in ComingUp. Google and iCloud events can be viewed, but must be edited in their original calendar apps.

Make lists and keep them useful

Create a shopping or packing list, add items, change them, and check them off. You can also remove individual items.

Save and update notes

Find a note, save useful information from a conversation, or update an existing household note.

Keep useful contacts handy

Find a saved contact, add a new one using details you provide, or update an existing contact.

Create a recipe together, then save it

Ask your assistant to suggest and refine a recipe, then tell it to save the ingredients and instructions privately in ComingUp. Saving requires a plan with recipes and permission to save them; it does not publish the recipe.

Report a problem or suggest an idea

Ask your assistant to help describe a bug or feature request, then submit it privately to ComingUp when you agree. With support access, it can also check your reports and any replies. If the connection itself is broken, email support@comingup.today.

Deliberate limits

  • No permanent deletion. Assistants cannot permanently delete your events, lists, notes, recipes, contacts, or household. They can remove individual list items.
  • What assistants cannot access. Assistants cannot access photos or media, change billing, or manage household settings through this connection.

Step by step

Connect ComingUp to Claude

Connect ComingUp Today to Claude using its working custom remote MCP connector setup.

Before you begin

  • A ComingUp Today account and a Claude account that can add or use custom remote connectors. Team and Enterprise users may need an organization administrator to add the connector first.

  1. Open Connectors

    In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.

  2. Add a custom connector

    In Customize → Connectors, choose Add, then add a custom web connector. On Team or Enterprise, an authorized organization administrator must first add it under Organization settings → Connectors. Claude may ask you to review the connection and authentication settings.

  3. Enter the connection address

    Name the connector ComingUp, then enter the remote MCP server address shown here.

  4. Authorize ComingUp

    Follow Claude's connection or sign-in prompt, sign in to ComingUp Today, and review the permissions you grant. Only approve access you intend to use.

  5. Use ComingUp

    After connecting, enable ComingUp in Claude’s connector controls, then ask in everyday language. The connection is linked to your Claude account and may also be available in its other apps.

  6. Reconnect or check access

    If Claude stops accessing ComingUp, first confirm that the ComingUp connector is enabled for your conversation. If the authorization has expired, reconnect it from Claude's connector settings and review the permissions again. For persistent problems, use the AI connection troubleshooting page or contact support@comingup.today. Do not share passwords or access tokens in chat.

  7. Disconnect or revoke access

    Remove ComingUp through Claude’s supported connector controls. This revokes Claude’s access; you manage this connection in the assistant’s settings. Information Claude already received remains governed by its terms and privacy policy. Reconnecting requires ComingUp’s sign-in and permission steps again. Edit connected calendar events in their original apps. If reconnecting or disconnecting fails, contact support@comingup.today.

Troubleshooting basics

  • If Add custom connector is missing, confirm that your Claude plan and organization settings support remote connectors.
  • If an organization connector is unavailable, ask the organization owner to provision or enable it.
  • If Claude does not select ComingUp, enable it from Search and tools or explicitly say “use ComingUp.”
