Integration

Calendar integrations and compatibility

Bring supported external calendars into one shared view without changing where those events are owned or edited. Integrations are read-only: there is no bidirectional synchronization or write-back to a provider calendar.

The supported iCloud connection uses an Apple Account identifier and app-specific password. It is not a general-purpose CalDAV connector. iCloud Reminders lists may not appear reliably.

Local events stay local

ComingUp Today events do not write back to a provider.

  • Imported provider events remain provider-owned and must be edited at their source. ComingUp Today does not create, edit, or delete them in Google or iCloud.
  • Events created in ComingUp Today remain locally managed and can be edited in the app; they are not written back to a connected provider.
  • After authorization and initial loading, show/hide controls apply to whole imported calendars—not individual events, people, or groups.
  • Disconnect works per connected account and stops future data loading from that account. It does not change events in the source calendar.
  • Schedule freshness can vary with provider behavior and system timing.
