Features for complex families

ComingUp Today helps people coordinate layered schedules. Complex families and caregivers get shared visibility and clearer context, reducing ambiguity around what is happening and who is involved while the product stays focused on coordination.

Schedule anatomy

One shared view, with the context still attached

The schedule brings events into one readable surface while keeping where each event comes from visible. Source identity uses stable calendar color accents; event status makes it easier to scan what is past, happening now, or coming up.

Read-only imports: Google and iCloud calendars can appear without editing their source calendars.

ComingUp Today events: Add locally managed events beside imported events when coordination needs its own shared entry.

People context: Members and people clarify who a commitment involves.

Different scales: Today, Week, and Month keep the same shared schedule useful across immediate and longer-range views.

Optional access

Installable access and optional reminders

Install ComingUp Today where supported, then choose whether reminders are useful for a particular device.

Your choice, on a supported device

On supported computers, laptops, phones, and tablets, each person explicitly enables browser permission and a notification preference. An active subscription and supported browser, device, and platform are required. You can turn reminders off again at any time.

They cover scheduled reminders and supported material corrections, not messaging or engagement notifications. Delivery and timing are not guaranteed; provider and system timing varies.
