- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

- 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to come to temperature.
Step 2
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and smooth.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts.
Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
Step 3
Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden brown.
Let them sit on the baking sheet for about 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
