Ingredients
- 1 cup Warm milk
- 2¼ tsp active dry yeast
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 4 tbsp Butter (melted)
- 1 Egg
- 3 – 3½ cups Bread flour
- 1 tsp Salt
Instructions
Step 1 — Activate Yeast
In the stand mixer bowl, add:
• warm milk
• sugar
• yeastStir gently and let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.

Step 2 — Mix Dough
Add:
• melted butter
• egg
• salt
• 3 cups flour
Use the dough hook and mix on low speed.
If dough is sticky, add flour 1 tbsp at a time until it pulls away from the bowl.

Step 3 — Knead
Let the mixer knead on medium-low for 6–8 minutes.
The dough should be:
• soft
• smooth
• slightly tacky but not sticky.

Step 4 — First RisePlace dough in a lightly greased bowl.
Cover with a towel.
Let rise 1–1½ hours until doubled.

Step 5 — ShapePunch down dough.
Divide into 12 pieces.
Roll into smooth balls.
Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet or 9×13 pan.

Cover and let rise 30–40 minutes until puffy.

Bake at 375°F for 15–18 minutes until golden.
Brush with melted butter right after baking for extra soft buns.
