The interactive Household Display centers on Today. After the configured idle delay, Ambient mode rotates through enabled surfaces with available content: Today, Week, Photos, Lists, Notes, Recipes, and Upcoming.

Photos and useful everyday context
Managed Ambient Photos
Managed Ambient Photos appear when you have added photos for the organization; no external photo connection is required. Photos use a 15-second presentation, separate from the configurable informational slide rotation.Upcoming and optional weather
Upcoming can move near the front when a timed event starts within two hours. Optional weather can appear as quiet Today and Week context when enabled on the device. Shared visibility
What this feature does
Household Display requires a signed-in member and shows information for that member's active ComingUp organization. Switching organizations changes the information on the display; separate organizations remain separate.
Existing shared access:
The display uses organization membership and existing permissions. It does not create a new access boundary or infer who lives at the same address. Choose which shared information is appropriate to leave visible on your screen.Everyday visibility:

03 / Set the pace
Defaults as configurable settings
Display settings are saved on the device. You can change these defaults; browser, operating-system, and device behavior still applies.
Idle timeout
default 10-minute idle.Informational slide rotation:
Defaults to 90 seconds. Photos use their separate 15-second presentation.Night dimming
enabled by default from 22:00–06:30 with an 80% night dim amount.Temporary wake
defaults to 10 minutes after interaction wakes a dimmed night display.

Organization timezone
Time on your display
Household Display uses the organization's household timezone for the displayed schedule day and night-dimming times. Set it in household settings. Ordinary Today, Week, and Month calendar pages continue to use each device's timezone.
Supporting information
Installation, connectivity, and runtime expectations
- Installable PWA and standalone presentation are supported where the browser and platform permit.
- Live household data requires network connectivity and supported browser features.
- ComingUp and Household Display need an internet connection to show your information; offline use is not supported.
- This is browser-based software for a household-selected screen, not a dedicated hardware product sold by ComingUp Today.
